Break the Cycle is proud to present our TRAILBLAZERS series as a way to recognize and elevate the service of activists around the country – from all identities and walks of life, from those who started the gender-based violence movement and domestic/sexual violence prevention/intervention to those who are on the front lines today. TRAILBLAZERS seeks to identify and explore the intersectional identities and issues that occur within the violence prevention fields and the people who serve in them.

Activists are chosen in partnership with the communities they serve. Read the profiles to learn about the history of the gender-based violence and domestic/sexual violence prevention movements, and where activists see its future.
