Last week, every Pennsylvania State Senator received information about dating violence prevention as representatives from Mary Kay, the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape and Break the Cycle convened on the state capital. We met with more than half of the State Senators asking for their support of House Bill 2026 and Senate Bill 1116. Both bills require all Pennsylvania middle and high schools to educate students and school staff about teen dating violence.
We urge Pennsylvania’s State Senators to act on the information they gained and pass teen dating violence prevention legislation without delay!
