Step 1: Register at the Run/Walk

Join Break the Cycle at the 5th Annual City of Los Angeles 5K Run/Walk for Victims’ Rights.

When: Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 8:00 AM

Where: Point Fermin Park – 807 Paseo del Mar, San Pedro, CA 90731

Why: 100% of the proceeds (registration fees & sponsorships!) raised by Break the Cycle participants will directly support our work with youth to end domestic violence.

Prizes are available for the top finishers. All participants receive a T-shirt, goodie bag, finisher’s medal, chance drawing ticket and other fun surprises.

Here’s How You Can Help…

Step 1: Register at the Run/Walk

Bring your signed Entry & Waiver Forms in the Run/Walk Packet to the Run/Walk. Registration fees are:

• $25 for adults
• $15 for seniors and students (students are 18 and younger)

Step 2: Recruit Sponsors

Use the Donation Worksheet and Sponsor Form found in the Run/Walk Packet to track and collect sponsorships.

Here’s a sample e-mail you can customize and send to invite support from family and friends.

Step 3: Send Us Your Sponsorships

Send your completed forms along with sponsorships by March 28 to:
