For the fourth consecutive year, Break the Cycle was invited by thecolor:black;background:white”> members of Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley to participate in the High Heel-A-Thon. The purpose of this community event is to “stomp out domestic violence,” and we did just that–with snazzy heels! Teams who register are encouraged to come up with fun themes to represent their support for the cause. Break the Cycle went retro, “Stomping Out Dating Abuse Through the Decades.” Check out photos below!
Break the Cycle was honored as one of three beneficiaries of this fabulous and fun event. We had a blast and we are already coming up with costumes for next year. Interested in joining us next year or have your own idea for to raise support and awareness for domestic violence? Let us know! We’ll lend our support any way we can, and even try to be there–with heels on!
