Movie Screening at Day One NYMovie Screening at Day One NY
Hosted by: Day One NY
About:
Throughout the month of Feburary Day One plans on raising awareness to the types of abusive and unhealthy relationships teens often see in the media. We will be hosting screenings throughout all of New York City of movies featuring teen relationships, to high school students. After the film, there will be a talk back where Day One coordinators will start a discussion with the students about how relationships are portrayed in the media. Since we have coordinators placed in seven high schools in New York City, there will be a screening held in each of those schools along with one held in our office in lower Manhattan.
