Ask Anything Volunteers

Join Break the Cycle by becoming a Helpline Volunteer in Los Angeles. You will work under the supervision of dating violence experts to learn how to respond to emails from young people around the country who are experiencing relationships abuse. We will train you to provide safety planning tips, information about dating violence and referrals for various services, such as counseling, shelters and legal assistance.

You will also help us expand our database by researching youth-friendly resources.

Commitment

Available 8 hours per week, between 9am and 5pm, Monday thru Friday. Must commit to at least 6 consecutive weeks. Please note that volunteering will take place at Break the Cycle’s LA office.
