#VoicesHavePower Campaign Underway

At Break the Cycle, we work to inspire and support young people to build healthy relationships and create a culture without abuse. Dating violence affects millions of people every year, but people are still afraid to talk about it.

It’s time to start the conversation and bring hope to survivors. That’s why we’ve partnered with Verizon Hopeline to bring public awareness to this important issue with their #VoicesHavePower campaign starting now through August 8th.

Help us send over 100,000 messages of hope, love and support to survivors of domestic violence and dating abuse. For every message that uses the hashtag #VoicesHavePower, is submitted through the website or is texted to #94079, Verizon will donate $3 towards preventing domestic violence.

Get involved! Use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to send your message of hope. Remember to use #VoicesHavePower in your message when you reach out to family, friends, students, colleagues and more. These survivors need to hear from you — now is the perfect time to send a message of hope to uplift and remind them that they are not alone.

Spread the word and bring hope to millions of survivors. Together, we can both raise funds for dating abuse prevention programs and send love to those who need it.

That’s our message for survivors of domestic violence, dating abuse, sexual assault and stalking. What will yours be? Send it today!
