2010 Brick Campaign to End Dating Violence Launches

Dating violence harms one out of every three teens in the United States. One in three is one too many.

You Can Help! To prevent dating abuse, teens must have a safe space to ask questions, get expert advice, share stories and take action against domestic violence. Help Break the Cycle connect youth to thesafespace.org, a resource that does all that and more.

Join the 2010 Brick Campaign as a Brick Layer. Brick Layers are folks who ask their friends and family to buy virtual bricks that support Break the Cycle. By participating in this online competition, you become a leader against abuse.

The Brick Layers who (1) raise the most money or (2) engage the most donors WIN. This year, winners get to place Break the Cycle’s [Ending Violence] curriculum in a school of their choice, making a lasting impact on promoting healthy relationships.

The campaign is completely online (so it doesn’t waste any paper) and all the money will go to support Break the Cycle’s efforts to end dating violence. We will give you sample emails and other tools to help you solicit your friends and family. We’re asking for small donations ($25-$150) and your donors will get to design a brick that we will display on our website for a year.

Join us and together we will show youth the way to thesafespace.org.
