When Can I Host a Party? You can host a party anytime of the year – it is a Valentine’s Anytime party after all. However, the first full week of February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Week so if possible, planning an event for this week can have extra impact. Where Can I Host a Party? You can host a party at your home, a restaurant, a park, a bar, or anywhere else that you and your friends would enjoy! How Much Does it Cost to Host a Party?Hosting a Valentine’s Anytime party can cost as much or as little as you would like to spend. You can ask local grocery stores or restaurants for food and drink donations – you will be amazed at how many businesses are willing to help a good cause! You can also host a potluck-style party to cut down on costs. How Much Money Should the Party Raise? The amount is completely up to you and your guests. Any donation, no matter how small will help teens build lives and communities free from domestic violence. We suggest that you set an overall fundraising goal and include a suggested donation amount in your invitation – but always encourage guests to give more than the suggested amount!
