February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month!.

It is a national effort carried on by activists, community leaders, and national and local organizations, to raise awareness about dating abuse, promote programs that support young people, and encourage communities to prevent this form of abuse with the goal of decreasing the prevalence of dating abuse among young people. 2018's Theme was Healthy Me, Healthy We! a journey of self-love, positivity, and strength. Check out our quiz to find out what self-love slogan you need right now and the scoop on this year's Teen DV Month t-shirt design finalists!

Fairfax County Teen Art Contest

About:

In recognition of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (February), Fairfax Teens (ages 12 to 19) are invited to use their creativity to personally design works of art that promote healthy relationships.
We accept submissions in all artistic mediums including painting/drawings, posters, videos (up to 2 minutes in length), music and more! Entries should be turned in at your local Fairfax County Community Center or Teen Center (see a list of centers at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/ncs).
All entries are due by 5 p.m., February 27th, 2017.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries during a culminating art exhibit on March 10, 2017, from 5 to 7p.m., at the Fairfax County Government Center.
