With over two decades of experience, Break the Cycle is the only organization in the country with the unique combination of tangible direct service experience and the skills and knowledge to provide high-level training on the issue of dating violence policy, intervention and prevention.
Our trainers develop engaging, informative trainings, drawing on their diverse backgrounds as attorneys, domestic and sexual violence advocates, educators, social workers, youth, public health professionals, and youth services professionals. Collectively, we have a combined 50 years of experience in the field of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and dating abuse services.
Break the Cycle has been a Technical Assistance provider for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) since 2007. Through OVW Technical Assistance grants, and other capacity building partnerships, Break the Cycle supports individuals and institutions including youth services providers, schools, government agencies, and community organizations across the country to provide the highest quality dating abuse prevention, intervention, and response services to young people.
