Teen DV Month Virtual ContestHosted by: Independence House; Cape Cod High School Students
High School Students on Cape Cod are encouraged to take part in a Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month Virtual Contest. Students are asked to complete a survey set up on Survey Monkey that asks questions about dating, abuse and tests their knowledge of resources. The first 100 students to complete the survey and provide a name and mailing address will receive a $5.00 Dunkin Donuts gift card. All surveys that are completed they will be entered for a chance to win a $250 Visa Gift card at the end of the month when the survey ends.

Family Violence Prevention Services, Inc. - The Battered Women and Children's Shelter and the National Council of Jewish Women are proud to announce the ninth year of the San Antonio Youth Film Contest, Can’t Beat Love, for area high school students. This year’s topic is “School Violence.” Students have been working since last summer to produce films on this topic. The program culminates in a Film Awards Night, where the students who created winning films are honored with cash prizes and merchandise.
